An Open Letter to My Future Client Who Stumbled Here by Accident

Dear Future Client,

Well, hello there. You probably came here looking for my résumé, portfolio, or at least a serious-sounding bio. Instead, you’ve landed in my personal corner of the internet. Part diary. Part coffee break. Part chaos. Stick around; I promise it’s worth it.

If you’re surprised, I get it. Most people expect a tidy About page with bullet points and credentials. And I have those, over on my business site, Mama Bear Stuff. But here, I wanted to create something different. A space where I could be more than a job title. Where the woman behind the work gets to speak without buzzwords, pitch decks, or corporate polish.

So what will you find here? The in-betweens. Stories written between nap times and deadlines. Thoughts brewed stronger than my coffee. Notes about motherhood, ambition, creativity, and the messy balancing act that is life. You might stumble into baby pictures or coffee rants. You might see reflections that sound a lot like your own. And somewhere in the middle of all this, you’ll also get to know me, the actual person you’d be trusting with your project.

Because here is the thing: the same mix of wit, grit, and heart that I pour into these letters is what I bring to my clients, too. Strategy, design, execution, YES. But also listening, problem-solving, and storytelling that makes people feel something. Work, but with a human touch.

So maybe you didn’t land here by accident after all. Maybe this is the part where you see that the person you hire is just as important as the services you pay for. If you like what you see, let’s build something amazing together. For polished business, head over to Mama Bear Stuff. But for the real me, the mama, the creative, the dreamer behind the screen, you’ll always find her right here.

Signed,
Jalyn
